キナクシスはカナダのオタワを本拠として設立され、以来30年以上にわたりサプライチェーンの革新を牽引してきました。キナクシスの豊かな社歴は、多数の特許、プランニングを念頭に置いてゼロから構築した独自のデータベースとプラットフォーム、そしてサプライチェーン領域の深い専門知識として実を結んでいます。

史上初のインメモリMRPエンジンを発売

キナクシス（設立当時の社名はCadence Computer Corporation）設立。史上初のインメモリプランニングエンジンを発売し、自社のカスタムハードウェアにおいてかつてなほどの速さで資材所要量計画（MRP）を実現して、実行時間を数日から数分に短縮。

前例のないシナリオ機能を開発

キナクシス（当時の社名はWebplan）はハードウェアからソフトウェアに焦点を移し、世界初の高度なサプライチェーンプランニングプラットフォームをリリース。前例のないバージョン管理とシナリオ作成機能を備え、複数のプランナーがサプライチェーン分析を同時並行的に実行できるようになる。

クラウドベースのSCPをリリース

キナクシスはクラウドベースのサービスとしてのソフトウェア（SaaS）サプライチェーンプランニングを提供する最初のベンダーとなり、最終的には資本支出を抑えた柔軟な導入オプションを企業に提供。これにより、サプライチェーンプランニング（SCP）の新時代が幕を開ける。

株式を公開

30年間継続して成長した後、キナクシスは株式公開企業となることを選択し、2014年6月10日に上場。

サードパーティ開発用にプラットフォームを拡張

自社のプラットフォームをサードパーティの開発者に開放することで、キナクシスは業界に認められたアプリケーションを提供する最初のサプライチェーンプランニング企業となる。さらに、拡張可能なクラウドベースのコンカレントプランニングプラットフォームを利用して独自のアプリケーションを作成する機能を提供する。
